- 3 ounce box Strawberry Jell-O gelatin
- 1 cup boiling water
- ½ cup cold water
- ½ cup vodka
- 12 gummy eyeball candies
Instructions
- Dissolve gelatin: In a large bowl with a pour spout, add the strawberry gelatin mix and boiling water. Whisk thoroughly until the gelatin is completely dissolved with no lumps remaining.
- Add cold water and vodka: Whisk in the cold water and vodka until fully combined, ensuring an even mixture.
- Fill cups: Arrange twelve 2-ounce jello shot cups on a rimmed tray to prevent spills. Carefully pour the strawberry jello mixture into each cup up to the fill line, leaving about â…› inch of space below the cup rim.
- Initial chilling: Place the tray in the refrigerator for 1 to 1½ hours until the jello shots are partially set but still soft enough to press the gummies in.
- Add eyeball candies: Gently place one gummy eyeball candy on top of each partially set jello shot. Return the tray to the refrigerator and chill for an additional 1½ hours to overnight until fully set and firm.
- Store and serve: Once fully set, cover each cup with lids if available and keep them refrigerated until ready to serve.
